After all those member changes within the past months some of you already expected it: Visual Kei band Solaris.★ will disband. They announced at their live today that the band’s last performance will be on January 5th next year.
In 1 ½ years of band activity there were so many member changes that in the end Yusa is the only original member left. The band realized that because of all the member changes Solaris.★ isn’t Solaris.★ anymore. That is the main reason for coming to the decision to disband.
At Solaris.★ live today the band’s former vocalist Shizuku acted as support vocalist and all of a sudden also their bassist Sena who actually left the band in August appeared. That made this evening into a quite nostalgic evening for members and fans.
The members didn’t reveal yet who will act as their support members at the remaining lives. Shizuku stated in his blog that he doesn’t want to perform with the band anymore because for him it feels like “it’s not good to do this again”. He probably has the opinion that it’s not right to perform with a band he had already left and to bring up an old chapter that he had actually closed.
